LGBT: Do people know that you are gay when they meet you?

No one's umed I was gay in a long time. It's probably because these days I mostly hang out with straight people. When most of my friends were gay, I think most people umed, but they always made a point of asking to clarify. Even when I'm with my girlfriend, people often ask if we're sisters. Thus is the curse of dating someone who is also tall, skinny, and pale with dark hair, eh?
