My 6 month old is really congested and when I went to do the bulb suction, I sucked out some blood...?

I would call our PED. but they are closed on weekends, And I did a search and couldn't find a ped. open on weekends in my area. what should I do? how can I make him feel better until the dr is open? It wasn't alot of blood, just mucus laced with blood.
