Can they get us arrested for vandlism?? please give me your thoughts?

Ok, we rent a home that my boyfriends dad was supposdly buying on contract from a lady, but he don't have a contract, and he didn't file a contract with the court to say he's buying this house, so his name is no where on it legally. We move in, no lease, and the house was barely livable. His dad begged us for almost 2 years to move out there because his step son had been living out there for almost 3 years, and not paying rent,and in fact, he was paying the step sons eletric bill etc. So 4 months after the step son moves out, my boyfriend and i, and one of our friends, and his dad pack and moved everything from this house. Before we moved in, my boyfriend had to hang a new front door,because the old one had been kicked in before we ever went out there. We moved in, and his dad said he would start to replace things,and do work to the house. Little to say,he didn't do much. The toilet wouldn't flush,and it started backing up in the bathroom sink, his dad borrowed a snake from a friend and had my boyfriend, his son, do all the work, after that, the toilet started leaking. My boyfriend replace the o ring, and it leaked so bad it was soaking the whole bathroom floor. He kept telling his dad about it, and his dad always came up with a reason why he didn't have the money to fix it. His dad lived next door to the house we were renting. it got so bad that both kitchen sinks were plugged up and wouldn't drain, and when you flushed the toilet, it would come up in our shower. The house has a septic tank. Also, the roof leaked so bad that it ran down the upstairs wall down into the dining room and would puddle in the dining room. He also parted out our furnace like you would a car for his furnace next door. Because he's raising 3 grandkids,and he claimed he didn't have the money for the part, so we had to use karasone heater, and plug in heaters. Then our pipes would freeze up,and our pump for the well burned up more than 6 times in 2 and a half years. The last straw for me was one moring I went to start water for laundry, and no water. My boyfriend came home, and our water heater had caught fire and it triped a breaker,and that's the only thing that saved us during the night from the house catching fire. I moved out right away into a friends home with my dog, cause I was afraid we would die. My boyfriend stayed out there for almost 2 more months until we could find a home to rent. When we moved out, all heck broke loose. His dad took us to small claims court today asking for 4,900, for "damages" we did. The eletric co condemed the home when we had the eletric turned off in our name, because the outside wiring was not up to code, and they weren't allowed to go into to the home,but the outside wiring was so bad, they won't put a box meter in. In court, the onlything we had to give the judge was a paper from the clerks showing his name is no where on the house,and the taxes were paid by the real owner of the house. All he had was supposed pictures of the house after we left. No before,or anything. His wife chased my boyfriend and I off the property with a knife. we didn't even get all our stuff out of the house and we couldn't take pictures. The judge didn't make his ruling. He said he would think about it. So we don't know what's gonna happen with that. As we were leaving, we found out his dad had went to the procuter, and now he is asking the procuter to file vandlism charges against us. Can they so that get vadlism charges pressed against us??
