How do I get my husband to take my side?

Oh dear, you do have a problem, firstly, you need to ask your husband out to dinner, out of the house away from them, take him to some quiet place where the two of you can talk. Dont hold back, tell him how you feel and lay down some bounderies, dont forget this is your life and that of your daughters too, not just his. I am really thinking you and your daughter would be better off without him, because it sounds like he cant break the apron strings from his family. You need to tell him that you are going to tell his parents and sister to leave immediately, and if they do not, then you have to be prepared to remove your daughter and yourself from the house until he comes to his senses. If you have to do this, give him a time limit to get rid of his family from your home, and if this is not done, then take legal action and consider leaving him also. If he is at the stage of siding with his family against you, then he is not your husband, and you should not be wasting your time with him. If you dont make a stand now, he will stand over you for the rest of your life together.
