Is vomiting and severe abdominal pain related to rib + sternum injury?

I broke 3 ribs and cracked my sternum 5 days ago. CT showed no organ abnormalities related to the injury. Starting two days ago, I began vomiting every so often. I'm now vomiting quite frequently and have severe abdominal pain of the sort that makes me want to curl into the fetal position- except that doing so makes my ribs hurt quite severely. Could the stomach problems be related to the injury and something have been damaged that didn't show up on the CT? If not... what are some possible causes of frequent vomiting and severe abdominal pain... I'm a college student and no one I'm aware of on campus has a stomach virus, so I'm getting a little nervous. Please help!
