What do I do with my DS?

I now have a DSI, and my old DS lite (white) is now useless. The top screen doesn't work but i want to do something with it. What do i do? If there is anyplace that will buy its parts that would ROCK (I called gamestop and they won't take parts) but can you give me options on what to do with it. If i can't get money for it, would it be mean to give it to good will?
