What does this mean, please help me?

Hi i was wondering if there was a meaning behind this. Well a few weeks ago, my girlfriend broke up with me. I am in college and she is in high school, and well the kids mostly girls, who ive been told are sluts, made fun of her so much and picked on her for dating me so much because of the age difference that she finally couldn't handle it and broke up with me. We loved each other and totally had plans and everything for the future. We both never ever thought this was going to happen, i had no idea because well i was at school. I mean i still love her and stuff, and still wanna be with her. I know that i need to be the friend that she wants at this time and not a boyfriend, im trying my hardest. Also im giving her time, which is also hard because i miss her and miss talking to her so much. But the thing that i was wondering about is that on her ipod, since i give her the music i looked and on there had the most times a song was played. The song that was most played was whiskey lullaby by brad paisley, which is a sad song, and it is a song about being heartbroken and stuff. I didn't know if this meant anything, like she is heartbroken deep inside, i mean she has told me that she hides her pain inside with the smile on the outside. I just didn't know if this had any meaning or not, i mean i would love for her to be still in love with me, because i would love to be able to date her again since i love her so much!
