Has anything changed since Al-Maliki said he doesn't want to be PM of the Puppet Regime?

I have been looking on the web to see if he has anything posted, so I figure he is being held hostage too by Bushco. I saw information this morning that Bush wants to bring the troop deployment up with the surge from 20,000 to 65,000 by the end of the year. Now this is really being a flip flopper isn't it. This includes deployment of 1/2 a million troops by 2012.
